Hi friends and family!
This November, I’m lacing up my running shoes and taking on the iconic New York City Marathon — but this race isn’t just about crossing the finish line. I’m running to raise funds and awareness for the Little Heroes Foundation, an incredible organization that makes a real difference in the lives of children facing serious medical challenges.
The Little Heroes Foundation provides support, resources, and a brighter future for these brave kids and their families. Whether it's funding treatments, offering financial relief, or just giving these young fighters the chance to experience joy, the foundation plays a critical role in their journey.

Little Heroes Foundation Incorporated
In 29 years of operation, Little Heroes Foundation has raised close to $40 million - the majority going towards purchasing lifesaving equipment at Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital and providing daily support to families through the Little Heroes Care Program. Little Heroes is also pleased to announce a new partnership with the Childhood Dementia Initiative. There are almost 90 deaths each year from this illness, yet little is known about the 70 different variants of this condition. The Foundation is currently running the campaign ‘Raise it for Renee’, supporting a South Australian mum with all three of her children experiencing the devastating impacts of terminal childhood dementia. Little Heroes has committed $50,000 to support Renee and families like hers. In conjunction with this campaign we are also funding a PhD student in Professor Kim Hemsley's team at Flinders University to assist them with finding potential treatments and cures for childhood dementia. Our partnership with Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation continues to grow through our Big Talks for Little People campaign, along with a new commitment towards an Eating Disorder Facility to be built here in South Australia.
